Description

Scylla isn’t just a sea monster - it’s also a great place to work! 🐙

At ScyllaDB, we’re building the next-generation NoSQL database - fast, powerful, and trusted by top companies around the world. Our Warsaw office supports a vibrant team of around 60 amazing people and plays an important role in our global operations.

We’re now looking for a versatile and proactive Support Office Administrator to join us on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who wants to get real, hands-on experience in a modern tech company.

You’ll work closely with our local Operations and HR team (two super friendly people!) and help with many different office tasks. If you're organized, curious, and ready to learn new things - we’d love to meet you.

Scroll down to learn more and send us your CV. Join us and become part of our (legendary) crew! ⚓

As part of our Operations Team, you’ll support keeping our Warsaw office running smoothly and making it a great place to work. Here’s what your day-to-day might include:

Office Support:

  • Creating a friendly and organized space, making sure the office feels welcoming and everything is in its place
  • Keeping office maintenance, managing inventory and supplies
  • Bringing people together, helping to plan fun team events, office celebrations, and other social activities
  • Taking part in various exciting projects (such as our upcoming office move)!

Administrative Assistance:

  • Supporting invoice and payment processing for office-related expenses.
  • Welcoming new team members. Assisting with onboarding tasks like ordering hardware, preparing welcome kits, getting their workspace ready and more!.
  • Managing office and IT equipment so we know where everything is (and what needs replacing).
  • Booking trips and stays, lending a hand with travel and accommodation arrangements for team meetings and events (we love those gatherings and organize them often!).
  • Jumping in where needed, taking part in special projects or helping out with one-off tasks whenever something new comes up

Requirements

We’re not expecting you to know everything on day one — but if the list below sounds like you, we’d love to talk:

  • You’re organized, reliable, and can handle a few things at once without breaking a sweat.
  • You’re ambitious and excited about the opportunity to grow and evolve with us.
  • You notice the small stuff and like to take initiative rather than wait to be asked.
  • You’re a good communicator - both in Polish and English.
  • You’re comfortable using tools like Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
  • You’re independent and can manage your time well, even with a flexible schedule.
  • You’re available to work up to 20 hours per week.
  • Bonus points if you’ve worked in a startup or fast-paced environment before!
  • You have a valid work permit in Poland.
  • You're solution-oriented - no challenge feels too big, and you’re always looking for a way forward.
