Vertex Ventures Israel is looking for a HR Growth Manager to join our Value Creation team.

This is a great opportunity for an individual with hands on experience in tech recruitment to join the VC world, get exposure to over 50 startups in varied stages and from different fields, and impact their success.

This role will require strategic thinking and creativity, with an ability to lead HR projects to enable startup growth and support the Vertex portfolio companies HR efforts.

𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞:

• You will work closely with both our early stage portfolio copmanies as they build their teams and make first strategic hires, as well as with our later stage companies by supporting executive hiring and more
• Create a scalable infrastructure for HR efforts
• Collaborate with portfolio founders to structure initial hiring strategy and qualification criteria
• Source talent - search for potential executive candidates using hiring databases and social media
• Assess applications and resumes and match with open positions across the portfolio

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫:

• Experience in building a company's growth strategy
• Experience in project management
• Minimum 3 years experience as a recruiter in a tech startup - mandatory
• Highly motivated, passionate about startups and supporting growth
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to quickly get acquainted with startups, tell their story and understand needs
• Knowledge and understanding of recruiting and sourcing techniques
• Well-organized
• Excellent with prioritization and time-management
• Knowledgeable of employer branding techniques - a plus
