Adaptive6 is the industry's first Cloud Cost Governance platform, helping enterprises maximize cloud efficiency by optimizing their infrastructure. The platform continuously scans multi-cloud, PaaS, and Infrastructure-as-Code environments, uncovering hundreds of hidden inefficiencies that are typically overlooked. Inspired by cybersecurity methodologies, it accelerates remediation with AI-driven code fixes and proactively prevents waste before deployment through shift-left cost policies.

With rapid adoption among Fortune 500 companies, we are expanding our world-class team to meet growing demand.

We are looking for a Director of Marketing to build and lead Adaptive6’s marketing function.

This is a highly impactful role for someone who combines strong brand thinking with fast, hands-on execution. You will be responsible for shaping our marketing strategy while also driving execution across brand, content, and field marketing, working closely with internal teams as well as external partners.

This role is ideal for someone who:

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand & Positioning

  • Increase brand awareness
  • Own and develop the Adaptive6 brand
  • Define brand strategy, messaging, tone of voice, and creative direction
  • Own content, PR, and social media to drive consistent storytelling and visibility

2. Field Marketing & Events

  • Create high-impact, memorable brand experiences in the market.
  • Own major conferences and industry events, including booth presence, messaging, and on-site experience
  • Plan and execute executive dinners, meetups, and community events

3. Ecosystem & Market Presence

  • Strengthen Adaptive6’s presence within the FinOps and enterprise ecosystem.
  • Build relationships with industry leaders, practitioners, and partners
  • Develop creative collaborations and market-facing initiatives

4. Demand Generation

  • Support pipeline growth through focused, brand-aligned demand generation initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales and SDRs pipeline creation efforts
  • Own and optimize digital marketing initiatives (organic and paid)
  • Drive content-based demand, including webinars, whitepapers, and gated assets
  • Build account-based and targeted marketing initiatives
  • Measure and optimize performance based on clear goals and outcomes
  • Own campaign planning, execution, and measurement across paid, email, webinars, content offers, and direct mail.
  • Build integrated ABM programs that convert key accounts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading B2B enterprise marketing, preferably in a brand-focused organization
  • Proven ABM experience
  • Strong brand intuition, creativity, and storytelling skills
  • Experience owning brand, content, and field marketing initiatives
  • Highly energetic, execution-oriented, and able to move fast
  • Experience working with agencies, freelancers, and external vendors
  • Strategic thinker with a strong hands-on mentality
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
