What are we looking for?

We're looking for a Staff Manager of Product to lead Apono's product organization and oversee the entire Apono platform, including its integration with 1Password.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who combines strong product judgment, people leadership, technical understanding, and execution excellence. You'll lead a team of Product Managers and Designers, helping them identify real customer problems, build impactful solutions, and deliver with a lean, MVP-first mindset.

Reporting directly to the VP Product, you'll drive roadmap execution, ensure a cohesive product experience across the platform, and partner closely with Engineering, Design, GTM, Customer Success, and leadership to build the right products for our customers while fostering a high-performing, collaborative product culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers and Designers.
  • Own the product strategy and execution across the Apono platform, ensuring alignment, consistency, and an outstanding customer experience.
  • Drive roadmap execution, release planning, prioritization, dependencies, launch readiness, and delivery against company goals.
  • Provide regular visibility to the VP Product on roadmap progress, execution risks, blockers, releases, and product impact.
  • Coach PMs and Designers to deeply understand customer problems, validate assumptions, and build simple, high-impact solutions.
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Design to align product direction, UX, technical tradeoffs, and execution.
  • Engage directly with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders to shape product strategy and identify new opportunities.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product Marketing to support launches, adoption, enablement, and customer feedback.
  • Foster a product culture centered on customer focus, execution excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in B2B Enterprise SaaS.
  • 2+ years leading, mentoring, or managing Product Managers; experience managing Designers is a strong advantage.
  • Proven experience leading product teams through roadmap planning, execution, releases, and cross-functional delivery.
  • Strong background in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, identity and access management, DevOps, platform products, or another complex technical domain.
  • Experience owning broad product platforms requiring strong cross-product alignment and a cohesive user experience.
  • Excellent product judgment, with the ability to identify real customer problems and prioritize impactful solutions.
  • Strong commitment to lean product development, MVP thinking, rapid validation, and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers, technical buyers, security teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong technical orientation and ability to partner with Engineering on architecture, feasibility, and technical tradeoffs.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across Product, Engineering, Design, GTM, Customer Success, and executive leadership.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to connect product decisions to customer value, adoption, revenue, and market differentiation.
  • High ownership, hands-on execution, and comfort operating in fast-moving environments.
  • A people-first leadership style with a passion for coaching, feedback, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • Collaborative, humble, proactive, and execution-oriented.

Advantages

  • Experience with PAM, CIEM, IGA, identity security, cloud security, DevOps, or DevSecOps.
  • Experience leading platform products or integrations following acquisitions or across business units.
  • Experience building AI, automation, agentic workflows, or data-driven security products.
  • Previous engineering, security, design leadership, or technical product background.
  • Experience working with global teams and customers across the US, Israel, and other regions.
