About The Position

As a Project Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful end-to-end implementation of projects while aligning with company KPIs. As Augury continues to grow and our initiatives become more complex and cross-functional, this role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and project success.

This role is based on the East Coast, with quarterly travel to the NYC office as needed.

A Day in Your Life

  • Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction through consistent results and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Participate in internal handovers, including:
      • Project Assignment: Facilitated by GTM, aligning with receipt of post-sales, site-specific criteria.
      • Project Closeout: Ensured by POM to finalize deliverables and outcomes.
    • Initiate project kickoff within ~3 business days of assignment, with flexibility for exceptions as needed.
    • Tailor external customer communication to site needs and personas, using emails or calls as appropriate to keep projects on track.
    • Act as the primary escalation contact to ensure timely resolution of customer issues, including scope changes, global multi-site deployments, and upsells.
    • Maintain a project-specific forecast via SFDC under WOLI (Work Order Line Item) by product(s) and start/end dates.
  • Installations
    • Manage projects in a standardized manner against specific SLAs to ensure a consistent customer experience.
    • Upon project (case) assignment, review the full scope of the opportunity, including products and quantities sold, scoped, and allocated per site-specific project.
    • Identify and escalate any deviations in Incoterms, scope (quantity or product), or unplanned return visits to SFDC as opportunities to protect margins.
  • Maintenance
    • Assess the end-to-end scope of site-level needs, including IoT status, machine tagging, and cross-functional inputs to define a site-specific SOW (Scope of Work).
    • Manage hardware swaps as a structured process, applying the same level of oversight as new installations to ensure full resolution and serviceability improvements.
  • General Operations
    • Actively participate in cross-functional or departmental initiatives as needed.
    • Develop a working knowledge of Augury’s solutions and Bill of Materials (BOM) to support effective project execution.

What You Bring

  • PMP certification or equivalent is strongly preferred.
  • Experience implementing lean processes.
  • Background in full-stack solutions is preferred; hardware experience is required.
  • Industrial experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different stakeholders.
  • Process-oriented decision-maker with the ability to prioritize and multitask objectively.
  • Ability to remain agile and balance standardized processes with necessary exceptions.
