About Bites

Bites is an AI frontline enablement platform. Companies with large deskless workforces — retail, hospitality, logistics, manufacturing and healthcare — use Bites to train, update and engage their employees through short, mobile-first content delivered where they already work.

Founded in 2020, Bites is headquartered in Tel Aviv with a growing team in the US and serves enterprise customers worldwide.

The role

We are looking for a Financial Controller to own the accounting and financial control of the Bites group across Israel and the US. You will lead the closes, own financial reporting and controls, manage revenue recognition and multi-entity accounting, and work closely with our external accountants, auditors and management.

This is a hands-on role in a growing global SaaS company. You will be the person who knows the numbers end to end, builds the processes that keep them accurate as we scale, and turns them into analysis management can act on.

What you'll do

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly and annual close process across the group's entities in Israel and the US
  • Own financial reporting to management, and maintain strong internal controls
  • Manage revenue recognition, accruals and deferred revenue in line with US GAAP / ASC 606
  • Run intercompany accounting, reconciliations and consolidation across multiple entities
  • Work with external accountants, auditors and tax advisors in Israel and the US, including annual audits and tax filings
  • Support the annual budget, rolling forecasts and cash-flow planning
  • Prepare financial analyses, KPIs and ad-hoc reports for management and investors
  • Own billing, collections and vendor-payment processes together with the finance team
  • Build and improve finance processes, systems and automation as the company scales

What we're looking for

  • Certified CPA (Israel) with 3+ years of experience, including hands-on work in an industry finance role after internship
  • Experience in a SaaS or technology company, with a solid understanding of subscription revenue and SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, deferred revenue)
  • Experience with global or multi-entity operations, including intercompany and consolidation
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented and able to own the full accounting cycle independently
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to explain the numbers clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Excellent English, written and spoken

Nice to have

  • Big 4 background
  • Experience with a US parent company and Israeli subsidiary structure, transfer pricing or international tax
  • Experience with ERP and SaaS billing systems (e.g. NetSuite, Priority, Chargebee or similar) and with HubSpot
  • Experience supporting a fundraising or due-diligence process

What we offer

  • Ownership of the finance function's core at a fast-growing, global SaaS company
  • Direct work with the leadership team and exposure to strategic decisions
  • Competitive compensation and benefits
  • A supportive, collaborative team culture
