About the Role
You’ll join Cymulate’s Research Team, which focuses on offensive cybersecurity research, vulnerability discovery, and the development of advanced attack techniques. The team researches real-world adversary behavior, designs novel attack methods from scratch, and translates them into high-fidelity simulations that help customers proactively validate and improve their security posture.

- Lead the development of advanced AI and agentic AI systems for modeling, executing, and analyzing attack techniques.
- Apply agentic AI to offensive security research workflows, from attack discovery to simulation logic and analysis.
- Conduct hands-on offensive security research, including vulnerability discovery and attack chain development.
- Design new attack techniques and translate research into production-grade simulations.
- Build AI-driven components that integrate with Cymulate’s platform and customer-facing capabilities.
- Collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams in fast-paced, Agile research cycles.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in advanced cyber research, elite military technology units, or equivalent industry roles.
- Deep expertise in AI systems and agentic AI development.
- Strong hands-on background in offensive cybersecurity (OSCP or equivalent experience).
- Experience with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, LangGraph, and LangChain.
- Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a strong advantage.
- Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and technical leadership abilities.
