Growthspace is seeking an experienced and dynamic Data Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing data teams while remaining deeply hands-on with data analysis, modeling, and engineering. As the Data Lead, you will be responsible for shaping and driving our data strategy, ensuring data quality, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company’s data strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a small team of data professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
• Dive deep into data analysis, data modeling, and data engineering tasks to extract insights, build models, and develop data pipelines.
• Establish and enforce data quality standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across all systems.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to identify and meet their data needs.
• Design and maintain scalable data infrastructure and architecture to support current and future data needs.
• Oversee the creation of dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
• Communicate effectively with senior management and other stakeholders to present findings, recommend strategies, and influence data-driven decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest data technologies, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve our data capabilities.
  
  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data roles in a SaaS or tech environment.
• At least 2 years in a leadership or managerial position with proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on growth and development.
• Excellent knowledge in Snowflake (MUST), SQL, Tableau, Python/R, data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong ability to work hands-on with data, from analysis to implementation of complex data solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
