LEDGE'S MISSION is to reinvent how finance teams work by building AI agents that actually do the work, not just automate it.
We began with an industry-leading reconciliation platform used by top finance teams. We are now broadening our scope to develop a completely AI-native close management solution, built upon our strong existing platform that is already competitive with leading industry offerings. Our agents autonomously prepare, reconcile, validate, and manage the close end-to-end with finance-grade accuracy and transparency. We're designing new tools for the Office of the CFO: a scalable, trustworthy data pipeline combined with autonomous AI workflows and a clean, consumer-grade experience.
The role
You’ll be our marketing leader, reporting directly to the CEO. You’ll own the entire marketing function, from strategy through execution. This is a full-stack marketing role at an early-stage company: you’ll set the GTM marketing strategy and roll up your sleeves across every channel. You’ll manage a mix of agencies, contractors, and direct hires as the team scales. This role is accountable for pipeline. You’ll hold a lead target and revenue target alongside sales.
Responsibilities
Own marketing-sourced pipeline targets
Scale and optimize a multi-channel demand engine spanning paid search, paid social, SEO/content, newsletter sponsorships, events, outbound, and partnerships
Manage an in-house SDR and own outbound messaging and targeting
Own positioning, messaging, and competitive intelligence
Run the CEO’s thought leadership program and paid amplification
Own the website, brand, and all marketing creative
Produce and direct sales enablement materials: battle cards, comparison pages, email sequences
Maintain a structured buyer intelligence system that keeps all content grounded in real customer language
Manage agency and contractor relationships across brand, design, SEO, content, and paid media
Build the marketing team over time
What we’re looking for
8-12 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Track record of building demand generation at early-stage companies (Seed through Series B): you’ve held a pipeline number, not just a brand mandate
Player-coach mentality. You can set the strategy and also get hands-on with execution. No big team to delegate to on day one
Experience marketing to finance, accounting, or “office of the CFO” personas strongly preferred. These buyers are conservative and technical; they respond to peer validation, ROI, and specificity, not hype
Strong communicator who can produce or effectively direct high-quality work across formats: positioning, landing pages, emails, social, enablement, etc
Data-driven. You track CAC, pipeline velocity, and conversion rates by channel. You make decisions with imperfect data
Experience managing agencies and contractors, and getting leverage from external partners without losing brand coherence
Comfort owning both inbound and outbound
Nice to have
Experience selling into the office of the CFO
Familiarity with AI product positioning
Background in competitive markets with well-funded incumbents
Experience using AI tools and agents to scale marketing workflows, content production, research, intelligence systems, automation
