As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer at Nagish you will lead the development of web applications that power our internal research platforms, studio tools, and community-facing interfaces. You’ll work at the intersection of frontend UX and backend infrastructure to help drive accessibility innovation in sign language technology. Your work will directly support our annotators, researchers, and data contributors.

On a day to day, you will:

• Build full-stack web applications for data management, video annotation tooling, learning platforms, and studio software
• Create interfaces for viewing sign language content and structured data derivatives
• Develop specialized annotation tools, with emphasis on SignWriting and assistive annotation
• Build platforms for annotator training, feedback, and evaluation
• Design and implement studio tools for custom video and motion capture recording
• Develop a platform for data collection from the Deaf community
• Work closely with the lead annotator and research team to improve usability and speed of annotation workflows

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior React engineer with deep TypeScript knowledge
• Proven track record in building MVPs and rapid prototyping
• Strong backend/frontend integration skills and experience building complex web apps
• Experience interfacing with ML tools, APIs, or experimental model outputs
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative research environment and communicate effectively
• Bonus: Extended use of AI engineering tools like Cursor, Claude Code, v0, base44
