Description

We’re looking for a Head of Product to turn Rylo’s business goals and user needs into product strategy, priorities, and execution. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thinks clearly, loves data, moves fast, and can bring structure, focus, and follow-through to a cross-functional team.

You’ll work across engineering, design, community, and marketing to drive product execution, own the product data foundation, and make sure the team is building what matters most.

The Difference You Will Make

You translate business into product. Revenue goals, growth opportunities, and company priorities become clear requirements, tradeoffs, and shipped features.

You own the data. You manage product analytics end-to-end, from dashboards and event naming conventions to tracking accuracy and KPI reporting.

You keep the company aligned. You lead product KPI and OKR discussions so everyone understands what matters most, what is being prioritized, and why.

You turn feedback into action. You convert insights from our community and users into product decisions and improvements.

You stay on the frontier. You build and prototype, review and test the latest technologies, including LLMs, speech-to-text engines, and conversational AI tools, and work to understand what can be done that wasn’t possible before.

You hold the experience together. Rylo ships across our product universe, which includes Mobile, Phone, Sign, Web, and Live. You help ensure the same language, quality, and experience across products where relevant.

On a day to day, you will:

  • Be the the authoritative voice for anything product related.
  • Convert business and revenue goals into product requirements.
  • Think about how product can support growth and virality.
  • Own product analytics and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy across product, engineering, and marketing.
  • Create, manage, and maintain dashboards, event documentation, and naming conventions.
  • Work with engineering to implement, fix, or improve missing analytics.
  • Lead product KPI and OKR meetings to keep the team aligned on priorities and progress.
  • Convert feedback from the Head of Community and real users into roadmaps, projects, tickets, and actions.
  • Partner closely with engineering to prioritize initiatives and deliver against company goals.
  • Review and test emerging technologies such as speech-to-text engines and conversational AI tools.
  • Unify the experience across Sign, Web, Mobile, and Live - same features where relevant, same language, same quality.
  • Prototype, test tools, and stay close to execution.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in product management in mobile apps.
  • Real AI experience - You can showcase at least five projects, features, or prototypes you built yourself.
  • Experience translating business, revenue and company goals into clear product requirements and shipped outcomes.
  • Strong analytical instincts - you’ve owned metrics, built dashboards, and know the difference between a vanity metric and a signal that matters.
  • Experience working deeply with product analytics, event tracking, dashboards, and data accuracy.
  • Comfortable partnering with engineering to prioritize, scope, and ship product work.
  • Able to work across design, marketing, community, and product without needing a translator.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, or similar.
  • Curiosity about emerging technology, especially AI, speech, accessibility, or communication tools.
  • Strong bias toward action. You prototype, iterate, close the loop, and don’t let things sit.
  • Genuine connection to the mission. Understanding of the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community is a meaningful plus.
