We’re looking for a Legal Counsel to join our legal team, reporting to the company’s General Counsel. This is an exciting opportunity to support the company’s day-to-day commercial operations and provide strategic legal guidance on product and regulatory matters. You will be at the heart of understanding how the U.S. healthcare system operates, and how regulation shapes product and business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on a wide range of commercial, product, and regulatory matters across the company’s operations.
- Support multiple departments including Sales, Product, and R&D with practical, business-oriented legal guidance.
- Conduct in-depth research on U.S. healthcare regulations including HIPAA and state-level privacy and compliance laws and turn into practical advice.
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements with customers and vendors.
- Develop playbooks, templates, and scalable legal processes to support Navina’s growth.
- Monitor changes in healthcare, privacy, and AI regulation and translate them into actionable guidance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to align legal considerations with business strategy.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of post bar experience, preferably at a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department.
- Licensed to practice law in Israel or the United States.
- Strong background in either commercial transactions or regulation and compliance work.
- Native-level English and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
- Creative, curious, and action-oriented mindset. Strong business orientation with an innovative approach to challenges.
