Open Source Engineering Manager
Seal Security
Seal Security is a rapidly growing cybersecurity startup. We help customers save developer hours and headaches while reducing both software supply-chain risk and organizational friction- by making the process of remediating open-source vulnerabilities easier and more efficient with fully compatible, security-patched versions of the libraries our customers are using.
We’re backed by top-tier VCs, led by world-class cybersecurity and GTM experts, and recently closed our Series A funding, with numerous Fortune 500 customers
We’re hiring an Open Source Engineering Manager to lead our growing OS team.
As the OS Engineering Manager, you’ll play a dual role: both guiding and mentoring the team and working hands-on to build, deliver, and troubleshoot critical security patches. This is a deeply technical leadership position focused on keeping our customers’ systems secure, resilient, and reliable.
You’ll lead by example- diving into complex debugging and patching challenges, shaping workflows and tooling, and mentoring engineers to elevate their experties. You’ll also collaborate closely with our automation and machine learning teams, driving improvements in patching velocity, reliability, and scale.
This is your opportunity to shape and scale a mission-critical security function at an early-stage startup, driving impact that will resonate across the entire engineering teams.
Are you up for the challenge?
