Description

We are looking for a talented Assistant Controller to join our Finance team.

As an Assistant Controller, you will be responsible for coordinating with various departments to ensure proper accounting treatment and support the company’s rapid growth.

A day in the life:

Be involved in the daily tasks of the finance Department

Take significant part in the monthly, quarterly, and annually closing process including consolidated report in accordance with US GAAP.

Monitor and perform accounting analysis to ensure accuracy.

Work with worldwide subsidiaries, provide support and guidelines to the local finance teams.

Reconcile intercompany balances.

Prepare statutory reports – annual financial report and tax reports.

Work with external auditors.

Assist and manage new processes as required.

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Preparation of consolidated financial statements for internationally spread multi-currency group of companies

Research and analyze complex accounting and financial issues

Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and advisors

Work closely with a wide range of teams across the finance department, act as an analytical focal point & support decision making.

Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting policies and internal controls to comply with legislation.

Ensure that detailed accounting documentation is compiled and maintained in support of relevant legal, regulatory, and audit requirements

You bring to the table:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Certified CPA from one of the Big 4 accounting firms

Hands-on accounting experience, including US GAAP knowledge

Strong accounting fundamentals knowledge

Great organizational and time management skills

Able to work in a fast-growing and dynamic environment

Strong English skills - both oral and written

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

Eagerness to learn and self-motivated personality

Experienced and ability to work as part of a team, yet also to think and work independently

Able to meet tight deadlines and multitask

Nice to have:

  • Prior experience in high-tech industry/ start-up company
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Netsuite- advantage)
