The position
At Trigo, we’re deploying some of the most sophisticated AI infrastructure in retail—at scale. As a System & Networking Engineer, you’ll be part of the elite team responsible for making it all run smoothly in the real world. That means remotely deploying secure, high-performance systems in hundreds of stores, designing resilient connectivity across complex networks, and building the automation that takes us from manual setup to effortless scale.
This role sits at the heart of our Ops Technology team—a new task force built to take over deployment and tier-2/3 tech support from R&D. It’s a hands-on, high-impact role for engineers who love getting deep into systems, solving hard problems in the wild, and being part of something that’s scaling fast.
You won’t just install and troubleshoot—you’ll design, automate, and lead the way as we scale from PoCs to hundreds of live stores across the globe.
A day in the life:
- Remotely install and configure servers across diverse, real-world client environments
- Design and maintain secure, reliable wire guard based VPN configurations to enable seamless connectivity
- Build automation tools and scripts to scale server provisioning and configuration
- Configure network routing, firewalls, and troubleshoot complex connectivity challenges
- Create reliable, repeatable infrastructure blueprints for store-level tech deployments
- Collaborate with engineers, deployment managers, and product teams to streamline onboarding
- Configure and maintain software based firewalls with the documentation for visibility at scale
- Serve as escalation point for complex technical support issues in the field

- Proficiency in network routing and protocols
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) to automate routine operations
- Comfort operating independently in live, customer-facing production environments
- Grit and clarity under pressure—especially when things don’t go as planned
Nice to have
- Experience creating and managing system images to streamline device setup
- Exposure to zero-trust networking or modern secure-access architectures
- Familiarity with store environments (retail, logistics, edge devices)
