Requirements
As a Field Operator, you will be Trigo’s on-the-ground representative in our partner stores, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering the highest level of service to our clients. You will oversee multiple store environments, monitor system performance, collect and validate operational data, and provide real-time feedback to the broader Autonomous Stores team (e.g. Operations, Product, Customer Success, R&D).
This is a hands-on role that blends technical awareness, operational diligence, and direct client interaction. You’ll be our “eyes and ears” in the store — proactively identifying opportunities, resolving issues, and ensuring everything runs as expected.
What You’ll Do
- Maximise the performance of Trigo’s systems by monitoring, maintaining and proactively looking for improvement opportunities
- Build strong and trusting relationships with our retail partners in store (e.g. store manager and staff) to get the most out of Trigo’s systems and improve their operations
- Collaborate closely with the Autonomous Stores team (e.g. Operations, Product, Customer Success, R&D) to collect and analyze data, share insights and resolve issues
- Offer on-site guidance and support as needed, including conducting basic hardware maintenanceConduct basic hardware maintenance when required
You bring to the table
- Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills (e.g. listening, empathy, persuasion), to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive and hands-on problem-solver, able to adapt quickly in dynamic environments (e.g. issues that need to be fixed quickly)
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities (e.g. balancing daily tasks with large projects)
- Ability to lead other team members supporting you in store operations
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
Nice to have
- Experience in a retail or multi-site operational environment
- Familiarity with data collection and verification processes
- Background in basic technical or hardware troubleshooting
