What is the role
As an HR Generalist at Zencity, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our HR operations by ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes and systems, with a focus on documentation, data accuracy, compliance, and employee experience. You will also work closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner to support our recruitment needs, from engaging with hiring managers to facilitating interviews and onboarding. Your work will directly contribute to creating a positive employee experience and helping Zencity attract and retain top talent, driving our mission to build a supportive and engaging workplace culture.
Responsibilities
HR Processes and Systems Management (70%):
- HR Processes: Support seamless HR processes (i.e., onboarding \ offboarding, performance reviews, etc…), ensuring efficient documentation and a smooth employee experience.
- HRIS Management: Oversee the accuracy and maintenance of HR systems and databases, assist managers and employees with HRIS-related inquiries, and track employee life cycle events.
- Policy & Compliance: Develop, update, and communicate company policies, ensuring compliance and addressing employee queries related to policies and HR procedures.
- Payroll Support: Being the HR POC for the finance department on payroll matters, manage time-off tracking, and provide administrative support to employees
Recruitment Support (30%):
- Collaboration with Talent Acquisition Partner: Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner to manage openings from start to finish.
- End-to-End Recruitment: Take ownership of recruitment tasks, including working directly with hiring managers to understand role requirements, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, and coordinating the interview process.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive and organized candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback throughout the recruitment process.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in recruiting (technical recruiting experience is an advantage).
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Previous administrative or operational work experience - a plus
- Previous experience form a high-tech \ start-up environment - a plus
- Familiarity with BambooHR \ Compete \ Comeet \ G-suite- a Plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
