What is the role

As an HR Operations Specialist at Zencity, you will help ensure that our People processes run smoothly and efficiently across the employee lifecycle. You'll work closely with employees, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to support HR operations, maintain accurate employee data and documentation, and contribute to a seamless employee experience.

In addition, you'll manage recruitment efforts for Israel-based roles and assist with global hiring processes as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, global organization.

Responsibilities

HR Operations & Systems Management (70%):

  • HR Processes: Manage key HR processes throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, performance review cycles, and other People Operations initiatives, ensuring smooth execution and accurate documentation.
  • HRIS & Data Management: Maintain accurate employee data and organizational records across HR systems, support employees and managers with HRIS-related inquiries, and track employee lifecycle events.
  • Employee Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and maintain HR-related documentation, support policy administration, and ensure compliance with internal processes and applicable employment regulations.
  • Payroll & Cross-Functional Support: Partner with Finance, IT, Legal, and external vendors to support payroll updates, employee lifecycle events, reporting, audits, and day-to-day HR operations.

Recruitment (30%):

  • Recruitment: Lead recruitment processes for Israel-based positions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, candidate communication, and partnership with hiring managers throughout the hiring process, and support global hiring efforts as needed.
  • Candidate Experience & Recruitment Operations: Manage job postings, applicant tracking systems, recruitment workflows, and ensure a positive and organized candidate experience from application through offer.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, HR Generalist, or a similar HR role.
  • Hands-on experience managing employee lifecycle processes from onboarding through offboarding.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms; BambooHR experience is a strong advantage.
  • 2+ years of experience leading recruitment processes (technical recruiting experience is an advantage).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong proficiency with Google Workspace and HR systems.
  • Experience working in a global or multi-location organization is an advantage.
