Our Data-infra team is looking for a Senior Backend Developer with a passion for solving complex scaling problems with a good understanding of efficient, forward looking system design. Our desired candidate comes with a can-do attitude that will inspire and help us build rocket ships. ‍

The opportunity

• Build and maintain the company’s core data infrastructure
• Continuously improve the system architecture and improve the technical standards
• Work closely with other R&D teams on cross-platform features
• Lead projects from initiatives to production
• Build and structure high end features on a hyper-scale environment
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and frameworks.

What you bring to the table

• 5+ years of experience in backend engineering in a agile environment
• Experienced with traffic intensive systems or big data processing
• BSc in Computer Science from a leading institute or equivalent experience
• Extensive experience developing in Python or other equivalent high level language
• Experience in developing with a distributed microservices architecture
• Ability to work within a team as well as mentoring team-members and leading initiatives.
• Experience with various kind of databases, database modeling and API design
• Hands on experience in a cloud environments (AWS / GCP / Azure)
